Florence E. Kral, age 95, of Lenexa, KS passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011. She was born on February 22, 1916 in Hershey, PA, the daughter of Minerva (Lohman) Colestock and George Henry Colestock. She married Charles A. Kral Jr. in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on July 3, 1948. Florence was a Life Member of the Meera Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to play Bridge, Gin Rummy, and Bingo and any activity involving family or club members, bowling with the women was one of her favorites.
Survivors include her sons; Charles Kral and his wife (Kathleen) and Charles Fisher; daughter, Karen Sue Garnier and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Shane, Dustin, Zachary, Christopher, Rebekah, Travis, Edward and Tammy; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Kral, Jr. one daughter, Judith Christopher and her brothers George and Sam and her sister Bernice.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2011 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 West 93rd St, Overland Park, KS 66212.
