Frances M. Reed, 86, Overland Park, Kan., passed away, Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Frances was born January 10, 1922 in Melvern, Kansas. After attending art school, she married Harry Reed in 1946. She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved gardening and was a talented artist.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Harry Reed. She is survived by son, Jerry Reed and wife Judy, daughters, Nancy Pozin and husband Randy, Barbara Hesler and husband, Jim, seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Delmar Gardens of Overland Park for their loving care and friendship.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be held prior to service from 10:00 ? 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 9229 Ward Pkwy, Suite 350, Kansas City, MO 64114.
