FRANCES RICE (STUBBS) HAUSER
Frances R. Hauser, 93, Roeland Park, KS, passed away June 28, 2010 in Leavenworth County, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at Southridge Presbyterian Church, 5015 Buena Vista, Roeland Park, Kansas, on Thursday, July 1, 2010. Visitation will be from 6:30- 7:30 p.m., prior to the memorial service, at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Frances was born August 13, 1916 in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Rosedale High School where she was a cheerleader, class president, enjoyed leads in plays and Operetta's, secretary of her Senior Class, and President of the National Sunshine Society. Frances was a den mother for her two sons and a Girl Scout leader. Besides being the best mom and wife for 70 years, she was a bookkeeper, worked at an abstract company, and retired from Macy's in 1977. She enjoyed her friendships and activities at her church as well as travel with her husband of 70 years, Herman J. Hauser. Survivors include sons, Harold V. Hauser, of Osage Beach, Missouri, Jerry W. Hauser and wife Sharon, of Overland Park; daughters, Janet E. Hauser, of Kansas City, Kansas, and Jeanie J. Hauser, of Leavenworth County, Kansas, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
