Frances N. Rollert, born to Roberto and Vanda Nosari in Little Rock, Arkansas June 12, 1918, passed away quietly on February 22, 2010. Frances attended St. Mary’s Academy in Little Rock where she became the school’s head coach and first All-State selection in basketball. She was a long time member of St. Agnes Parish where she was active in the Altar Society, a grade school basketball coach and Cub Scout Leader. While raising two children, she worked outside the home as a manager and buyer at Casual Aire retail stores. Her family and friends miss her sense of humor and unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Rollert. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Garrick and Fran Rollert, Douglas and Ibby Rollert; her 5 grandchildren, Michael Rollert, Jennifer and Jamie Thomason, John Rollert, Alexis Rollert and Elspeth Rollert; and three great grandchildren, Griffen Rollert, Megan and Andrew Thomason. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Madge Rollert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 24 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Rd., Roeland Park, Ks. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 23 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Ks. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75 St., Prairie Village, KS 66208.
