Frances G. Troxel, 86, of Smithville, Mo., passed away on June 16, 2009.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, from 10-11 a.m. at Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel. Services will start at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
Frances was born January 17, 1923, to Thomas and Emma Barker in Osawatomie, Kan. She was married to H.D. "Bud" Troxel in August 1941. Frances was preceded in death by her father in 1970, mother in 1974, husband in 1982, sister Ruth in 2002, brother Charles in 2003, son-in-law Frank Mansfield in 1980.
Survivors include five daughters: Deanna Byers (Larry) of Olathe, Kan., Gloria Garst (Richard) of Pinckard, Ala., Gerry Mansfield of Newton, Ala., Marilyn Robinette (Mike) of Smithville, Mo., and Bonnie Partridge (JP) of Columbia, Ala.; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; brother Bob Barker of Osawatomie, Kan., and sister Betty Troutman, also of Osawatomie, Kan.
