FRANK E. ENGLEBRICK SR., 87, Overland Park, KS passed away December 12, 2013.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Action, 10520 Barkley, Overland Park, KS 66212 or Children's Mercy Hospital, 5808 W. 110th, Overland Park, KS 66211.
Frank was born Jan. 29, 1926 in Kansas City, KS. He was a WWII Veteran that served in the Navy from 1943 to 1947. He married Pauline Davis on April 30, 1946. In 1950 he went to work for TWA as a Mechanic and worked there until his retirement in 1984 and was an owner of Overland Park Bait and Tackle for 20 years.
Mr. Englebrick was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Pauline, on January 13, 1999; two grandsons, Mike Englebrick in 1997 and David Englebrick in 1983; one great-grandson, Scott Englebrick in 1997.
Survivors include two children, son, Frank E. Englebrick Jr. and his wife, Diana; and his daughter, Pam Smotherman and her husband Ron; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
