Mr. Frank J. Kelly

Frank J. Kelly, age 80, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away on Friday, August 28, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Cremation. A private committal will be at a later date in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Charities, 2220 Central, Kansas City, KS 66102. Frank was born on September 29, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio. He received a B.S. in business administration in 1952 from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Frank was a past member of the board of directors of Master Builders, Europe, Brussels. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Blue Key Honor Fraternity, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion Post #407. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Lou Mercer Kelly in 1981, and his daughter, Pamela Sue Kelly in 2000. Survivors include his daughter, Paula Ann Kelly- Thomson; brothers John J. Kelly, Mark A. Kelly and Kevin P. Kelly, and sister-in- law Willa (John) Lawson. Arrangements: D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, at 11200 Metcalf in Overland Park, Kan., (913) 451-1860.
