Frank Layfayett Newby

Frank , at the age of 82, passed away on February 2nd, 2025 in Overland Park Kansas at Menorah Hospital surrounded by his family whom he loved dearly as we loved him.

Frank was born on September 15th 1942 to his parents, Frank and Lucy Newby in

El Paso Texas. The beginning of his education was in San Mateo California at the age of 5 where he graduated from high school. After attending 2 years of college, he worked in the oil fields in New Orleans for 1 year. He met his wife, Hayden, in Jackson Hole Wyoming and soon after they were married.

After they married , they lived in Sacramento California where he was employed by Ticor Title as an area manager. Ticor Title provided a transfer to Rochester New York in 1984. Paychex Payroll picked up Frank as an district manager where he remained with them for 9 years. One of Franks fondest memories is his time he spent as volunteer fire fighter with the Brighton Fire Department. He was then transferred to Overland Park Kansas and remained with Paychex until 1993. Frank had the opportunity to develop his own company. His company became N Line Industrial Sales. He loved his business and was very proud of what he built. He met so many people along the way and developed many close relationships whom he cherished through the years. Frank and Hayden joined Kansas City Elks Lodge # 26 where he was very active with youth activities and veterans. Also, Frank and Hayden belonged to Cosmopolitan International , a fund raising organization for diabetes. Frank was still with his company, N Line Industrial Sales, when he passed.

Frank is survived by his wife, Hayden of Overland Park Kansas, daughter Pamela Alvarado, granddaughter Olivia Alvarado of Cupertino California, daughter Sarah Golding ( husband Mark Golding ), grandson Tyer Kirkpatrick of Olathe Kansas, granddaughter Madison Kirkpatrick of Roeland Park Kansas, step granddaughter Ryane Smith ( husband Lucas Smith and step great granddaughters Alaina and Olivia) of Louisburg Kansas, step granddaughter Kenna Golding ( fiancée Ian Dace ) of Olathe Kansas, sister Suzanne Allen ( husband Nigel Allen) of Bluffton South Carolina and his brother Steve Newby of Russellville Arkansas.

Along with his immediate family, Frank was very close to his sister in-laws, brother in-law and all of his nieces and nephews. He was loved and cherished by countless people and made a huge and positive impact on all those he came across. He will forever be deeply missed by all. He made us all better people by the love and respect he gave each and everyone of us.
