Fred McIntosh, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Fred was born May 21, 1944, in Kansas City, MO, to Lloyd and Geri "Murr" McIntosh. He loved to cook, travel, his pets and most of all, his family. Fred's fun and loving ways will be missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and his beloved pet pig, Rosie.
Fred is survived by Douglas Whitman; two brothers, Gene Waters and Terry McIntosh; one sister, Peggy Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Indoor Courtyard of Memories, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m on Friday, February 1, 2013, at DW Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 211 W Armour Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64111.
