Frederick ?Fritz? Cronenwett, 71, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Fritz was born August 21, 1936 to Frank & Jane O?Connor Cronenwett in Oak Park, Illinois. He was a graduate of Grinnell College. He moved to Overland Park in 1966 where he has raised his family and resided since. He worked for Mobil Chemical for 35 years. Fritz was an avid bridge player, and faithful Royals fan. He loved to spend time at his lake house, fish, snorkel, and travel. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dan. Left to cherish Fritz?s memory is his wife, Jaci of Overland Park; son, F.J. & Sheryl Cronenwett of Overland Park; daughter, Cathy & Troy Rohr of Flower Mound, TX; son, Kurt & Kim Cronenwett of Prairie Village; grandchildren, Courtney, Derek, Megan, Erica, Jake, Annie, Charlie, and Kate.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St., Overland Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donor?s charity of choice.
