Mrs. Gabriele Hanson

Gabriele C. Hanson, 80, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away July 31, 2009, at the Kansas City Hospice House from cancer. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society . Gabriele was born on Feb. 1, 1929, in Würzburg, Germany, to Richard and Kornelia Reinhard. Her father was the town dentist of Sterbfritz, Germany, where Gabriele received her training as a dental assistant. She was a one time member of the American Dental Assistants Association. She was employed by Dr. George Schopper, Dr.'s Meigs Jones Sr. and Jr., during her career. Gabriele and Robert were married 54 years on June 25, 2009. My Gabriele loved all and was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by Robert C. Hanson, her husband of 54 years; three brothers, Dr. Richard Reinhard, Jr., Dr. Winfried Reinhard and family in Germany, Albrecht Reinhard and family; three sisters, Rosemarie Musso and family, Annemarie Doring and family in Germany and Margarita Gollnick and family in Germany.
