Gladys Evelyn Wadman, 81, Overland Park, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Menorah Medical Center following an extended illness.
Gladys was born July 27, 1925, in Henry County, Indiana. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. She enjoyed her family, camping, and card games. She also loved her friends at Silvercrest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert. Survivors include her son Stephen; daughter-in-law Kathy; grandchildren, Marc and Melinda Wadman, Brittney and Trevin Wray and Jonathan Wadman and three greatgrandchildren, Brody, Gavin, and Ava.
A celebration of Gladys' life will be Thursday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m., at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Visitation will be an hour prior from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
