Gary D. Smith, 76, passed away on August 18, 2017. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 10-11AM, service to begin at 11AM, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Louise Smith; brother, Donnie Smith; and daughter, Becky Smith-Worely.
He is survived by his wife Connie R. Smith; daughter Karla Hite (Mark); son-in-law, Greg Worley (Kim); granddaughters, Monika Worley-Stevenson and Rachel; grandson Michael Worley; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice, 1626 E Elm St, Harrisonville, MO 64701.
