Geneva A. (Dyer) McKeever, 87, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the Overland Park Regional Hospital.
Geneva was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She put raising two sons at the top of her priority list. Geneva was a collector of books and enjoyed reading very much. She enjoyed traveling and spending summers at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Geneva is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John; two sons, Alan (Debbie) McKeever and Gary (Becky) McKeever; six grandchildren, Aron, Natalie, Amanda, Stephanie, Tracy and Kerry; and three great grandchildren, Phoenix, Charlotte and Sam.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, KS 66224. A private entombment will be held at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W 75th St. Prairie Village, KS 66208.
