George Francis Corey, 73, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Sunday, July 29th at Menorah Medical Center.
George was born December 17, 1933 in New York City, New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He retired as a New York Police Officer serving in the Special Operations Division.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; sons, Michael and wife Allison, Christopher and wife Brenda, George Jr. and wife Jeannette, James and wife Fran, and Daniel and wife Judy; grandchildren, Amanda, Brian, Eric, Shane, Conor, Nicholas, Dakota, Sienna, Brody, Joseph, and Matthew.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 1st, at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled U.S. Veteran?s Fund.
