George Arthur Krause, 88, died on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Lenexa, KS of complications from pneumonia.
George was born December 3, 1918, in Spencer, Iowa. He joined Colgate Palmolive Co. in 1942 as an industrial engineer. He and his wife Peg moved to the Kansas City area in 1950 where he was Personnel Manager for Colgate until his retirement in 1977. He was an active member of 2nd Presbyterian Church. His recent community involvement was at Lakeview Village and as a volunteer with Seniors Serving Schools in Olathe.
He is survived by his daughters Terry (Pierre) Angleys, Veigy, France; Debby (David) Brewer of Olathe; grandchildren Nicolas Angleys, Ann Arbor, MI; Camille Angleys Banegas (Phil), Sacramento, CA; and Megan Brewer Smith (Chris), Olathe, KS; his sisters Kay Johannsen and Janet Wroblewski (John), and his brother Gene Krause (Audrey), all of Sarasota, FL.
His memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at Second Presbyterian Church, 55th & Oak, Kansas City.
