Mrs. Georgine Wolf

Georgine Wolf, 89, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Mon., Sept. 27, 2010. Visitation will be Thurs., Sept. 30, 1-3 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer’s Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kan. Funeral service will be Fri., Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice, 10100 W. 87th St., Suite 100, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
Georgine graduated from Harris Teacher’s College in St. Louis and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. She worked for the Boatmen’s Bank as a Historian and was a sports fan. She loved cheering on the Royals, Chiefs and KU Basketball. Georgine was a longtime member of Countryside Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Victor of the home; son, Robert and his wife, Mary of Overland Park, Kan.; grandchildren, Leslie and Brent; sister-in-law, Lois Cherekos; and niece, Gayle Weber.
