Gladys "Lita" Vizcarra

Gladys "Lita" Angela Rejas Vizcarra, 75, of Olathe, KS, passed away on July 2, 2019. Her visitation will be Saturday, July 6th at 10:00 am followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W 143rd St, Olathe, KS 66062. The reception will also be held at Prince of Peace following the burial at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to recover funeral costs or to The American Cancer Society.

She was born April 12, 1944 in Cochabamba, Bolivia, S.A. to Corina and Miguel Rejas. In 1966 she married the love of her live, Osmar "Ozzie" Vizcarra. They lived in Kansas City, MO where they had two children before moving to Olathe, KS in 1981.

Lita is survived by her husband; Ozzie, daughter; Jimena, son; Bruno, sisters; Ana Maria, Blanca, grandchildren; Natalia, Cristofer, Mia, Elyse and Anika, sisters and brother in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Lita worked as an insurance analyst at BMA for 20 years before early retirement due to health reasons. She was a member the Leawoodites at the Ritz Charles and Sisters of Seville. Her passions were dancing, swimming, cooking, and entertaining for her many friends and family.
