Glenn LeRoy Lindell, 94, of Lenexa, KS, met his loving Savior on July 30, 2014. Glenn was born in Ceresco, NE on June 23, 1920 to Noble and Edith Lindell. He graduated from Ceresco High School, Midland College (Fremont, NE), and North Park Seminary (Chicago, IL). On August 26, 1944 he married Maynette Sellin, whom he met on internship in Seattle WA. Glenn has a long and fruitful ministry serving numerous churches & institutions within the Covenant denomination. Glenn will be remembered as a pastor, preacher, churchman, evangelist, poet, story teller, Christian statesman, compassionate counselor, leader, administrator, joke-teller, true blue Royal’s fan, civic leader, husband, father, friend and a man of God. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Stuart. He is survived by his wife Maynette; daughter, Sandie (Tom) Anderson of Lenexa; daughter-in-law, Barb Lindell of Overland Park; 4 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 AM August 2, 2014 at Hillcrest Covenant Church, 8801 Nall Ave, Prairie Village, KS 66207. Family will receive friends from 9:30AM to 11AM at the church.
