Mrs. Glenna Gieseke

Glenna V. (Doyle) Gieseke, 85, born Feb. 15, 1928 in Pierce City, Mo. Glenna passed away in her sleep on May 21, 2013. She was an accomplished oil painting artist, an avid angler, a lover of music and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Gieseke.
She is survived by her three sons; Thomas (Margot) Gieseke, Joseph (Jackie) Gieseke and Michael (Cynthia) Gieseke, and one grandson; Andrew Gieseke, also one half sister, Susie Huffman.
A funeral service for Glenna will be held at 10AM on Friday May 24, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County chapel 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210 with a visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Hospice Foundation of America 1710 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Suite 400, Washington D.C., 20036 or www.hospicefoundation.org
