Glenna A. House, 90, of Overland Park KS, passed December 21, 2017.
Glenna was born May 17, 1927, in Alexander KS, to Orlando J and Belle Durand. She passed peacefully December 21, 2017, surrounded with endless love with her family in her final days.
Glenna was blessed with a large loving family. She was the third youngest of eleven children. After graduating from Alexander High School she moved to Kansas City where she met her husband Robert Dale House at Skelly Oil. They married and had three children.
Glenna was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother of 4, great-grandmother of 7, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, husband Robert Dale House, and son Robert Dale House, II (Bobby). Survived by her sister Joyce Reading, daughters Michelle (Doug) McDowell and Janet (Bob) Voss, 4 grandchildren Kristin (Ed) Wilson, Kendra (Nathan) Hernandez, Matthew (Laura) McDowell, and Kara Voss, 7 great-grandchildren Maddy, Ella, and Noah Wilson, Alexander Hernandez, Everett, Elizabeth, and Henry McDowell. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
