GLORIA ARLENE CROXTON
Gloria "Googie" Arlene Croxton, 84, of Paola, Kan., passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center from kidney failure. Gloria was a kind and caring individual who worked hard her whole life. This showed through in both her careers with American Cancer Association and the YMCA. She always put forth the extra effort to make sure everyone was getting along. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Croxton; a grandson, David Nevill, and two sisters, Mary Truby and Bessie Jodsass. Survivors include a daughter and son- in-law, two granddaughters, a grandson, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. Interment will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation , 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016. Arrangements: D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, (913) 451-1860.
