Harriet Louise Borchardt (Koehn), 75, Shawnee Mission, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at St. Luke?s Hospital from complications of heart disease.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Harriet?s life on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 2:00 ? 4:00 P.M. at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. The family suggests casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation or American Heart Association.
Harriet was born August 12, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was married to ?Sam? for 54 years. Harriet was a loving wife, mother and grandparent. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad; a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Robert ?Sam? Borchardt, Sr.; son, Robert Borchardt, Jr. and wife, Judy; daughters, Paula Boyd and Janet Taylor; Eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one sister.
