Hattie Thompson (Highfill), 93, Mission, KS, passed away on March 27, 2016 from natural causes.
Hattie was born January 30, 1923, in Potter, KS, to Mary and Ben Highfill. She was married to Gerald Thompson for 62 years. Hattie graduated from Pittsburg State College with an education degree and taught school for a few years before devoting the following years to raising a fantastic family! She was an avid Royals and Jayhawks fan and she was a very good cook!
She is survived by her three sons, Kyle, Marc, and Craig; one daughter, Marla; and their spouses; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her loving nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all of us.
