HAYDON HENRY DIGGES
Haydon Henry Digges, age 94, of Leawood, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. on Monday, June 28th at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the church. Private inurnment at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Village Presbyterian Church and the John Knox Kirk Presbyterian Church.
Haydon was born on July 16, 1915 in Glasgow, Missouri. He was a humble, generous, kind, intelligent and thoughtful husband, father and friend. Anyone who met him felt privileged to know him. Haydon was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deanie Digges. Survivors include his wife, Jane Hanger-Digges; daughters, Alison (Chris) Staniforth and Judy (Ron Wood) Kephart; step-daughter, Beverly Hanger; step-son, John William Hanger; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
