Hazel Weidemier

Hazel A. Weidemier, Overland Park, left her earthly home Tuesday, April 28, 2009, after 95 years of life filled with cherished memories.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Memorial Gardens, at 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland Weidemier, in 1966, and her oldest great grandson, Devin Quick, in 2008. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Adams and Linda Vogel and her husband Mike; sister-in-law Helen Stewart; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She will be missed by the caring family at Villa St. Francis, where she spent her last days putting smiles on faces with her consistent stash of Werther's candy.
