Hedy Hilt, 86, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away September 6, 2016. Christian Burial committal service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 14 at Prince of Peace Mausoleum, Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa. A memorial service to celebrate Hedy’s life will begin at 12 Noon, Wednesday, September 14 in the Heritage Hall at Lakeview Village in Lenexa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, KS.
Hedy was born in Caserta, Italy on December 1, 1929. Her parents were Olimpia (Iacelli) and Giuseppe Grieco, and she had several brothers and sisters. She graduated from Liceo Scientifico School, was married and came to the United States in 1947. Hedy had two children, Mary and Michael, and was an excellent homemaker. She was employed as a bookkeeper, her final years at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Hedy is survived by her daughter, Mary (James) McQueen of Lenexa, KS, son Michael (Debra) Hilt of Omaha, NE, and grandsons Brian, Jonathan, Adam, and Eric. Please offer condolences at www.johnsoncountychapel.com.
