Herma N. Ramey, 86, passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 at Stratford Common Assisted Living, Overland Park, KS. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 6 at D. W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Friends may call on the family from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Continua Hospice.
Hermie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur R. Ramey. Together, they were long time business owners in Mission. KS and volunteers at Channel 19 in Kansas City and Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Survivors include her son, Bob Ramey and daughter-in-law, Linda McKinley Ramey of Kansas City, Mo; grandson, Jason Ramey and his wife, Sherri and their children Ellie and Bryce, all of Overland Park, KS. She will dearly missed by her family and friends.
