Herman Fraley

Herman Fraley, age 87, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 29th 2010, at his home. Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 4 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS, followed by interment in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Fraley was born in Thayer, MO but his lifelong primary residence has been in the Kansas City area. His passions included traveling the world, gardening, and ballroom dancing. He became a member of the Ararat Shriners on December 4th, 1964. He worked at and retired from Local Plumber’s Union Number 8; however, he made the majority of his livelihood from investing in real estate. He is survived by his 4 children: Ann Fraley of Lee’s Summit, MO, Vernon Fraley of Leawood, KS, Fred Fraley of Gardener, KS, and Edith Fraley of Hot Springs, AR, and 8 grand-children. He will be greatly missed.
