Hauser, Heman J., 94, Roeland Park, Kansas passed away October 28, 2007 in Leavenworth County, KS. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be from 1-2: p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Rosedale Masonic Lodge, 6161 Slater, Kansas City, KS 66202.
Herman was born March 19, 1913 in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Rosedale High School where his barber shop quartette took state and he met the love of his life, Frances Rice Stubbs. They were married September 25, 1937. Herman worked for Hinde & Daush Paper Company. He retired in 1977 as an inspector at TWA after a 31 year career. He was a member of the Rosedale Masonic Lodge since 1945, a member of the TWA Senior Club and while raising his family was a scoutmaster and manager of the baseball team.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Frances R. Hauser, sons: Harold V. Hauser and wife Olga of Osage Beach, MO, Jerry W. Hauser and wife Sharon of Overland Park, KS; daughters, Janet E. Hauser of K.C., KS and Jeanie J. Hauser of Leavenworth County, KS, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
