Mr. Howard Adrian

Howard Emerson Adrian, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Garden Terrace at Overland Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A celebration of Howard’s life will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 21 at the chapel. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to City Union Mission, 1100 E. 11th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.
Howard was born August 10, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State in 1943 and served in WWII in the Philippines as an Army 1st Lt. He later worked for Dun & Bradstreet for over 40 years. He was a Paul Harris Fellow in the Rotary Club 13 of K.C. He was active at Hillcrest Covenant Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, of 62 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Beth New and her husband, John; granddaughter, Carrie; and many nieces and nephews.
