Ineta Fern Price, 106, Olathe, KS, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Good Samaritan, Olathe. Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, August 27, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Cremation. Mrs. Price was born August 2, 1905 in Aurora, MO. She graduated from Cherryvale, KS High School in 1923. Moved to Kansas City the same year. Graduated from Kansas City Teacher's College. Worked in Customer Relations Department at Sears Roebuck and Company from 1926 until she retired in 1971. Moved to Garden City, MO, in 1972. A member of Garden City Christian Church, a charter member of Kansas City Chapter of Sweet Adelines. She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Price, Jr. and wife, Helen, of Olathe, KS, and Kenneth W. Price, of Lynn Haven, FL; two sisters, Lola Ellis, of New York, and Ruth Schiler, of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Good Samaritan Society/Olathe, 20705 W. 151st Street, Olathe, KS 66061.
