Ivan "Jack" Holland Jr. passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 29, at 2 PM with a visitation beginning one hour prior at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel.
Jack was born January 18, 1929, in Johnson County to Ivan D. Holland Sr. and Helen England. He was a salesman most of his life, becoming Vice President of Marketing, Litton Hand Tools Division. Jack was a very compassionate man who loved his family. He was also a lover of animals and an avid fisherman. He was a very romantic and thoughtful husband.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Nancy Jean Cramer.
Survivors include his wife, Laraine; sons Ivan "Hap" Holland III (Timmi) and Thomas Matthew Holland (Lisa); stepsons Darren Sextro (John Rensenhouse) and Garrett Sextro (Nikki); grandchildren Heather Terranova (Mark), Rebecca Rupp (John), Janet Sharkey, Khryss Holland (Mary), Joshua Pulliam (Emily) and Peter Sextro. Jack is also survived by his sister, Nancy O'Mara, and seven great-grandchildren.
