Jack Edward Klecker, age 88, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. Luke?s South Hospital.
Jack was born February 1, 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended
S. W. High School and Park College, and also studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and continued his interest in aviation by owning his own plane. Jack worked in the automotive repair industry in a variety of capacities, retiring from Archer Truck Repair. He had many interests, of which model railroading and travel were primary.
Jack is survived by his wife Edna M. (Scheidt) Klecker; step-daughter Linda Schauble; and granddaughter Elena.
A celebration of Jack?s life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21st at D. W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A gathering of family and friends will be held 1:00 ? 2:00 p.m. preceding the service.
