Jack Moore was born in Kansas City, MO on February 16th, 1951, but became a lifelong resident of Overland Park, KS. He was the second youngest of four siblings, graduating from Shawnee Mission South in the class of 1969 and later a graduate of Mizzou. He served with the Marines in Vietnam and would go on to become a successful salesman as well as starting his own business. He loved all things Kansas City, especially Kansas City sports. He was an avid soccer fan and played in intramural leagues.
Despite being only 5 foot 8, his personality was larger than life and his voice filled the room, especially when he laughed. He was loved by everyone, including the family cats. When he remarried, he never considered his stepsons to be his stepsons. To him, they were his sons. He was the kind of person to put everyone first and was thinking of his loved ones all the way to the end. He was a selfless man, always there for anyone who needed him, yet never expected anything in return.
Jack is survived by wife Terri, daughters Kara and Monica, sons Heith, JC, Brandon, and Jack, daughters in law Rachel, Chelsey and Christina, and grandchildren Ellie, Elisabeth, Edward, Adriana, Christopher, William, and Adalyn. He was proud of all of them.
For a man who was always happy, nothing made him happier than being a grandpa. The world will be a lesser place without him and he will be missed.
