James Michael Harriman, age 61, Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Friday, December 22, 2006 at home, from a heart attack.
Mike was born October 10, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and served as a police officer for the City of Warren, PA where he lived happily for many years. He moved back to the Greater Kansas City Area in 1999 primarily to care for his mother. He was also a member of the American Legion.

His father, George Wendel Harriman, and his brother John Francis Harriman preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Madeline Harriman of the home, wife Patricia Harriman, Warren, PA, daughters, Johnna (Jeff) Keel, Tallahassee, FL., Jeannine (Tim) Benson, Palmyra, PA, son, Justin (Amy) Harriman, DuBois, PA. grandchildren, Madie, Michaela, and Kelly Keel, John Michael Harriman, T. J., Tristan and Libby Benson, brother, Pat (Janel) Harriman Overland Park, KS, sister, Lisa Harriman, Chantilly, VA, sister-in-law, Nancy Harriman, Overland Park, KS, stepdaughter, Jennifer (Troy) Lindell, Warren PA and numerous nieces and nephews who will greatly miss him.

A memorial mass will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 29, at Cure? of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, Kansas 66206. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6:30-8:00 PM on Thursday December 28, 2006 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Mike?s name be made to Cure? of Ars Catholic Church.
