Mr. James "Jimmy" Schmidt

A Celebration of Life Gathering for James Joseph Schmidt, 32, will be held Sunday, February 20th, in Overland Park, KS, from 10:00 AM—12:00PM. Chapel Services will follow, 12:00 PM. Jim passed away on February 14th, 2011. He leaves his beloved daughter, Halie Anne Schmidt, Overland Park; Halie’s mother, Anne Michelle Schmidt, Overland Park; his parents, DeeAnn Schmidt Daniels and Galen Daniels, Humboldt, KS; three brothers: Kevin Daniels, Chanute, KS; John Schmidt, Humboldt, KS; Jeremy Daniels, Humboldt, KS; two sisters: Kansanna Hernandez, Atlanta, GA; Amy Daniels, Chanute, KS; seven nieces, and five nephews. Jim lived with his family in Chanute before moving to Humboldt, where he attended and graduated Humboldt High School. He went on to graduate Allen County Community College and Pittsburg State University. Upon receiving his MBA, he moved to Overland Park, where he worked in finance and as a local business owner.
