James ?Mac Mcconnell, Jr.

James W. ?Mac? McConnell, Jr., age 86, passed away September 22, 2007, at the Kansas City Hospice House.
Jim retired from the car business after 40 years and spent an additional 20 years in retail sales. He was a WWII veteran in the 10th Army Air Corps where he received 3 distinguished flying crosses and 5 air medals.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, James W. McConnell, III and Elizabeth, Mary E. Hudson, Cicely J. ?Sam? and Ron Teson, Melissa J. McConnell, and Bunny A. McConnell and Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Beau Hudson, Ali Hudson, Christi Schreffler and her husband, Damian, Nicole Lunceford, and Anthony Madden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 24, from 6-8 P.M. with funeral services on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 1 P.M. both at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf.
