Janet L. Zerbe, age 78, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. A Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 5th, 2013 at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave. Leawood, KS 66224. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Janet Zerbe to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, 9221 Ward Parkway Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Janet was born on February 13, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK to Lloyd and Bessie Thomas.
She was preceded in death by children, Marc and Dana Zerbe. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Zerbe. Brother, Jack (Flor) Thomas of Vacaville, CA. 4 children, Doug (Barb) Zerbe of Galena, KS, Gary (Kathryn) Zerbe of Houston, MO, Nancy (Mark) Schrag of Kenai, AK, and Brad (Kenda) Zerbe of Leawood, KS. Janet is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
