Jason C. Cleveland passed away May 8th, 2008 at his home in Lawrence, Kansas. Jason lived most of his life in the Kansas City area.
Jason was born August 14th, 1971 to Sherry and Dennis Cleveland, and from his first day of life he fought a congenital heart defect (Tetrology of Fallot). This never slowed him down, or hindered his quest to live life to the fullest. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1990, and attended Missouri Southern College. Jason had a deep love of music and movies. He enjoyed creating short film features, playing the drums and attending ?Rock? concerts. He spent many hours being a volunteer for the Heart Association, participating in many walk-a-thons and support groups. Jason was scheduled to be a counselor this June, at a summer camp for children with similar congenital heart defects.
Jason is survived by his friend, Shane Clark; his parents, Sherry and Dennis Cleveland; his brother Ryan Cleveland, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his very special niece, Rayna Cleveland. Jason was a wonderful person who had a smile that would melt your heart. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
