Mrs Jean James

Jean Armacost James, 89, of Aberdeen Village, Olathe, KS passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008. Jean was born February 22, 1919 to Robert and Viola Armacost in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son, Monty Wood. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Otis E. James, Jr. of Olathe, KS; son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. & Nancy Wood of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Dianne Johnson of Shawnee, KS; son and daughter-in-law, Lee E. & Pat Wood of Reno, NV; ten grandchildren, Lamont Czar, James Wood, Susan Henderson, Jeffrey Wood, Amy Hance, Robert Wood, Jr M.D., William Wood, David Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Lee Wood IV; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Armacost and sister, Joan Armacost. Her memory will always be cherished by her family and friends. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all of those for your love, support and prayers. She, as well as her family, will be forever grateful. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Village Presbyterian Church, City Union Mission and Salvation Army. A private graveside will be held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. A Celebration of Jean?s life will be held 2:30 PM, Thursday, June 19 at The Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS.
