Jeannene "Jean" Winn was born August 17, 1930 in Osceola, Missouri to Riley and Amrine M. Winn.
Jean graduated from Osceola High School in 1948 and attended Drury College as music major, while in college she was also very active in her sorority Kappa Delta.
She moved to the Kansas City area in the fifties and lived the rest of her life there.
Jean loved to bowl, knit, read, work zigsaw puzzles, and was an avid Royals and Chief fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Betty Roberts, and a niece Deborah Obermueller.
She is survived by her sister Bonnie Crain and her husband Mike, a niece Michelle Crain all of Ozark,Mo.
A nephew Douglas Crain of Tulsa, Ok; two great nieces, Amrine & Rhea Obermueller and their father Brice. And good friend Fran Wedding and her dog Valentine.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210.
