Jeffrey Allen Oakleaf, 38 of Topeka, Kansas passed away January 20, 2017. He was born December 21, 1978 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Terry Oakleaf and Jill Ericson Oakleaf.
Jeff loved interacting with people, riding in the car, slapstick humor, and pretty faces. He conveyed his love and appreciation for others by offering a smile, laugh, or adoring look. Jeff brought out the best in everyone who knew him. He was loved by his family and many caregivers that became close friends during his life. He will be remembered for his bright spirit, courage, resilience, and his contagious smile.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Jill Ericson Oakleaf. He is survived by his dad, Terry Oakleaf, sister, Kelly Hayes (Jason), brother, Kevin Oakleaf (Sarah) and 6 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Johnson County Chapel, Overland Park, KS. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Lutheran Cemetery in Marquette, Kansas.
