Jeff departed from this life, the result of a fall on February 1, 2016.
Jeff gradated from Shawnee Mission East High School. He worked part time delivering pizza for the Villa Capri on Metcalf and in later years with his friend Steve at the new Villa Capri in Overland Park. He attended National American University where he obtained his masters degree and the honor of “who’s who” among students in American Universities.
Jeff loved baseball, football, golf, bowling, fishing with his dad, snow, fall foliage walking and cooking great Sunday dinners.
He was blessed with the birth of his son, Brandon in March 1988. He was very proud of the things Brandon accomplished and Brandon says he was a great dad and friend. Brandon learned many things from him.
Jeff and Brandon never missed a Friday night at the classic cars in Overland Park spring and summer, they also enjoyed working on each others cars. They spent a lot of time driving around to see the Christmas lights, carving pumpkins and decorating the Christmas tree. They were very close buddies.
Jeff was a very considerate, helpful, giving and supportive son. He was my best friend, my rock, my confidant. I was proud of the things he accomplished, but most of all I was proud of the person he was.
Celebration of his life will be February 15, 2016 at the Villa Capri restaurant at 103rd and Mastin in Overland Park.
Memorial contribution may be made directly to the family.
