Jesse R. Munyan, 19, Overland Park, Kansas passed away November 1, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 6, 2009 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 9595 W. 95th St., Overland Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Thursday evening, November 5, 2009 at Westbrooke Church, 9898 W. 95th St., Overland Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Kansas City Christian School in memory of Jesse, 4801 W. 79th St., Prairie Village, Kansas 66208.
Jesse was born August 13, 1990 in Olathe, Kansas. He lettered in varsity wrestling. He enjoyed working with computers and spending time with friends and family. Jesse also enjoyed working backstage for school productions. He had numerous pets, including 3 snakes and his beloved dogs, Crockett and Macy. Jesse was a gentle soul who will be missed by the many people who love him.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.A. Munyan and Ken and Connie Johnson.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Rob and Elaine Munyan; his twin brother, David; siblings, Bethany (Paul) Shelton, Tim, Jon (Rebekah), Josh, Emilie, and Phillip; grandmother, Rusty Munyan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
