Jewett Kenneth Logan, 86, of KC, MO passed away on January 9, 2013. Jewett grew up on a farm near New Florence, MO and farming continued to be an important interest throughout his entire life. He was an avid basketball player and fan. Following high school he served as a medic in the 141st Division Field Hospital during WWII. Jewett never met a stranger, loved the outdoors, hunting, auctions, garage sales, and practical jokes. He was part of the team that developed latex paint and retired from Valspar after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Miriam and their son Randy and sister Dorothy (Roger) Witte. He is survived by his loving wife Vicky, daughters Stacie (David) Lewis, Kerry (Scott) Wrenick, grandsons Trestle and Tobin Wrenick, sisters Francis (Don) Church, Nona Faye Broocke, & special niece Sara (Dennis) Birkner and many other loving family members and friends.
Graveside services, Friday, January 11, 2013, 9:30 am, Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd, KC, MO. Celebration of Life, following at 11:00 am, Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS.
