Jim Campbell, 73 of Overland Park, KS passed away October 15, 2007 with his wife and daughter by his side.
Mr. Campbell was the son of W.W. "Jack" & Velma Campbell who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol & daughter, Lisa Campbell of Overland Park; two sisters, Joyce Thompson & her husband Tommy & Jean Campbell; a niece, Trina Bickham, a nephew, Mark Thompson all of Redwater TX; 2 aunts & many cousins & great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Campbell graduated from Drury College in Springfield, MO in 1958 and was a member of SigEp. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps from 1958-1960. He was a professional sales rep for Ayerst Pharmaceutical Company from 1962-1968 & Schering/Plough from 1968-1990. He was a member of the Overland Park/Santa Fe Trail Cosmopolitan Club for 31 Years.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 20 at 2:30 P.M. at D.W. Newcomer Sons at Johnson County Chapel at 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park with visitation following the service. Cremation to follow services.
