Joan Morris Foley, 86, Overland Park, KS, passed away on November 3, 2016.
Joan was born July 19, 1930, in Brigham City, Utah to Alvin Morris and Secelia Bott. She was a teacher by trade and served an LDS Mission in England for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of which she attended her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 siblings; and her husband, William Massey Foley.
Joan is survived by one sibling, J. Dell Morris; 4 step children from a previous marriage, Carol McConkie, Bill Foley Jr., Elizabeth Crowe, and John Johnson; 5 children; Norma Anette Kellogg, Alice Christine Budach, Leslie Michelle Sloop, Larry Dale Foley, Robert Morris Foley; also, many grand and great grand children.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 10-11AM, with service starting at 11AM, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards her daughter, Leslie M. Sloop.
