Mrs. Joan Hurd

Joan Hurd, 83, Overland Park, Kan., died Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, entombment to follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Joan was preceded in death by a grandson, Clint. Survivors include her daughter, Janis Loser and her husband John; sons Jim Hurd and his wife Cheryl, John Hurd and his wife Leigh; grandchildren Jeff, Jennifer, Sean and Dylan, and great grandchildren Noah, Allison, Zachary, Camren, Carter, Robert and Heather.
