Carol Oswald, age 77, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS.
Carol was born March 7, 1937 in Centralia, MO to Harry and Jessie Wilson. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and wonderful gramma and great gramma. She always put everyone first and enjoyed caring for others.
Carol loved to go to Branson, MO and went every year as often as she could. She loved music and was part of a band when she was young and played the accordion. Her very favorite pastime was shopping. Carol fought many personal battles over the years with her health and like a rock star, always came out a winner. Even though she is not with us here, she won this one too, and does not have to fight anymore.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 son. She is survived by her husband, Milton, 4 children: Allison, Bill, Brad and Lisa, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Carol’s name.
